From humble dj beginnings in his native country of the netherlands, Afrojack has grown to become a multi-award winning, platinum-record selling producer and one of electronic dance music’s icons. His skills are some of the most sought after in the world, and with two Grammy Awards under his belt, it is easy to see how that came to be.

Afrojack’s dj sets have rapidly become both iconic and unparalleled, providing an explosive take on the current state of dance music across the globe. Afrojack’s artistic vision and creativity also helped him to solidify his own record label as a pioneering club music brand. As a label boss he managed to develop a number of successful artists through wall.

In 2016, he had a huge success with Fais and the track “Hey” which went triple platinum in Europe. Surpassing 200 million streams and the music video receiving over 132 million views led to Fais and Afrojack performing at the 2016 mtv ema’s.

His constant hunger for fresh recipes has remained firmly in place. ‘Keep it Low’, ft. Mightyfools, is a big room assault that demands movement: the so-called freemix of Major Lazer’s ‘Know no Better’ is a softer, upbeat summertime gem: ‘Another Life’, made with David Guetta and vocalist ester dean, is a clear nod to future bass sensibilities: and that collaboration with Hardwell, ’Hands Up’, could tear the roof off any place.

More recent tracks include his star-studded release called ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ with David Guetta ft. Charli XCX and French Montana, and another club banger named ‘New Memories’ with Dubvision closed out 2017. Afrojack immediately kicked-off 2018 full throttle with the release of ‘Helium‘ (Sia vs. David Guetta & Afrojack) and has another release up his sleeve which will be premiered on February 14th.

While producing non-stop it’s amazing to see he still has time to tour. From rising to a true international icon in a decade flat, we’d say the sky’s the limit for the next ten years.
